Leo

Annika has an imaginary friend named Leo. She doesn’t seem to like him much though, but always knows where he is and what he’s been up to. He is usually at the doctor or in the hospital. We ask her for an update quite often. Here are some Leo-related conversations…

Me: Where’s Leo?
A: In the hospital. He got hurt.
Me: How did he get hurt?
A: I hit him.

I told Annika that Cousin Kathy is coming to visit. “She has a Leo too!”

Annika was whimpering. I said, What’s the matter? “Leo hit me with a baseball bat.”

Hey Annika, where’s Leo?
He’s at the doctor.
Why?
He hurt his knee?
How did he hurt his knee?
He fell down on the grass.

What’s Leo up to these days?
He had two appendixes, so he had to have those taken out.

Does Leo like to watch any shows?
No, he doesn’t. And, he doesn’t have a mom.
